At the end of November, professor Marcos Carlucci, from the Federal University of Paraná, will be teaching a Functional Ecology course with emphasis on the analyses currently in use to investigate how species traits are related to their distribution. The course will be host at the Animal Biodiversity Graduate Program (PBiod) from the Federal University of Santa Maria and is open to students from all institutions. Students must bring their own laptop and have some basic previous knowledge of R programming. Applicants from the Federal University of Santa Maria are required to register using the online registration which is open at the beginning of each semester. Interested students from other institutions must send a request to cristian.dambros@ufsm.br at least one week prior to the starting of the course.
